What better car to drive in an American environment than an American Muscle Car? These cars, just like in real life, have great acceleration and top speeds; however, they find corners a challenge, which means you have to be extra skilled to control the slides around bends. Once mastered the Muscle Cars are a joy to drive, both on street and dirt-roads. However, off-road isn't their thing, as they tend to sporadically spin out and drift in odd directions, like butter on a hot skillet..
They are mostly road vehicles, but some off-roaders, such as the General Custer and the Bandit, make for exceptional dirt-roading. But, even then, don't expect them to magically excel at off-roading the way other vehicle classes do.

All of the Muscle Cars in the game are based on cars found in real life. This means that even in the parallel present that FUEL is set in, they still have the same preferences as we do now. (With the exception of the Sidewinder, which is based on the Lancia Stratos, which has not been in production since 1974!)
